The Scout is a living intelligence system for tracking signals of change across sport.
It is built around two connected artefacts: this searchable deep dive library and a three-weekly (email) intelligence drop. Together, they create an ongoing horizon scanning and sense-making system, designed to help us notice what is changing, interpret what it might mean, and widen the choices available today.
The aim is not to predict the future of sport. It is to keep emerging change visible, connect scattered signals into larger patterns, and support more informed decisions in the present.

How The Scout works
The Scout: Signal Drop
A three-weekly email with a curated set of signals worth paying attention to.
The Scout: Intelligence Deep Dives (this site)
Longer reads that connect signals into bigger patterns, tensions and strategic questions.
The Mini Botcast
Short audio versions of selected deep dives for listening on the move.
Together, these artefacts help move from noticing change to understanding why it might matter to action 'come Monday'.
Share a signal
The best scouting happens when more people are looking!
A signal is concrete evidence that something is changing = a clue from the present that points to a bigger shift in motion.
If you spot one, please send it through! Or if you think something is worth a deep dive let me know.
